    Adolescent menstrual dysfunction is a common cause of iron deficiency anaemia and absences from school. The management of AMD with single and double dose desogestrel is largely based on anecdotal evidence. Our aim is to describe the effectiveness and safety of both dosing strategies in our clinic cohort to help guide future management.
