    Public health officials are investigating the connection between certain frozen organic strawberries and a new out outbreak of hepatitis A infections.
    The Food and Drug Administration reports that the organic strawberries have been distributed nationwide to a variety of retailers, including Costco, Aldi, KeHE, Vital Choice Seafood, and PCC Community Markets in certain states and to Trader Joe's The frozen strawberries have been sold under a variety of brand names.

    Scenic Fruit Company of Gresham, Oregon is recalling frozen organic strawberries and frozen organic tropical blend because of an outbreak of hepatitis A illnesses.
    The recalled frozen organic strawberries were sold at Costco, Aldi, KeHE, Vital Choice Seafood, PCC Community Markets and the frozen organic tropical blend was sold at Trader Joe's.

    California Splendor Inc. of San Diego, CA, is recalling certain lots of 4-lb. bags of Kirkland Signature Frozen Organic Strawberries because of an outbreak of hepatitis A illnesses.
    The products were sold at Costco stores in Los Angeles, Hawaii and two San Diego business centers, according to the company recall posted by the Food and Drugs Administrator .
    The lots subject to this recall are as follows:
