    Background: Primary Ovarian Insufficiency in the pediatric and adolescent population is understudied and has significant health implications, including increased risks of infertility, osteoporosis, urogenital atrophy, sexual dissatisfaction, psychosocial distress, and all-cause mortality. While guidelines exist for evaluation, diagnosis, and management of POI, prior studies suggest significant variation in provider practice leading to treatment delays.
