• Pulmonary Hemorrhage Revealing Multiple Vascular Malformations in a Child With KCNT1 Developmental Epileptic Encephalopathy

    A 3-year-old girl was followed for a history of epilepsy since infancy with migrating focal seizures , a rare developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (1). She was born to unrelated parents of Caribbean origin after a pregnancy obtained by in vitro fertilization / intracytoplasmic sperm injection with the parents' gametes. Her mother and maternal grandfather had ruptured cerebral aneurysms. The seizures were repeated motor focal episodes with either eye deviation, oral automatism, or head turning, which sometimes progressed to generalized tonic convulsions.
