    We read with interest the article entitled “The safety and efficacy of autologous fat grafting during second stage breast reconstruction”1 which depicts how autologous fat graft has become a widely spread technique used to improve breast shape, size and overall satisfaction in patient who undergo autologous or implant-based reconstruction. Particularly so, this study shows how fat grafting in second stage reconstruction reduces additional surgery and allows patients to end their reconstruction path in a shorter time, without a statistically relevant increase of post-surgical complication.
