    Lamotrigine has been approved for partial seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. Common Systemic side effects of LTG include rash, nausea, dizziness and insomnia. Life threating side effects are rare: immune related adverse reactions including Stevens Johnson syndrome , toxic-epidermal necrosis, drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms , blood dyscrasias, aseptic meningitis and hemphagocytic lymphocytosis have been reported .
