    Rizzello and Coccia have criticised a few aspects relating to the mathematical model and the factors studied associated with primary dysmenorrhea in a report by our research group published in the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.1,2 First, these authors criticize the relation existing between having a worse quality of life and the use of pain medication to treat the PD2; that is, there exists endogeneity.
