• Cut points for pediatric lipid screening

    The current recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics support universal lipid screening for children age 9-11 years. Historically, the cut points used for screening identified children with abnormal lipid values. In this volume of The Journal, Peterson et al evaluated potential higher thresholds that would indicate the need for pharmacologic treatment.
